Movie "The Revenant"

I had hopes that this would be an actual depiction of the Hugh Glass saga. As I studier of the American Mountain Man era I was left terribly disappointed.
Wrong terrain, wrong time of year, far and way to much Hollywood additions to the story.
As an action movie I was disappointed too. To many strange events. And just to many stupid scenes such as DiCaprio's character stealing a horse from a French trappers(?) camp in the light hours with the camp members very much awake, building fires in the most visible ways possible etc...
As an actor DiCaprio did an excellent job and my hat is off to him. And the firearms were pretty neat too.
I know, I know everyone's a critic :p

The original true story is a great story. I hoped that they told that story.

Most of his story is there. A person just has to know which parts are his and which are Hollywoods.
