Seems a little empty in here though.

Hi everyone my name is gunnysam.

Returning member from 2007 or 2008. Nice to be back. I hope we'll start to see more of the old gang returning too.

Yeah it's been a while since these forums have been active. New site looks kinda funky, but easier on the eyes. Has OP written anything new recently?

I don't think I ever bothered with one.

But you may remember me as the guy with the fixation on killing raccoons who come for his poultry, who ran experiments shooting rows of soda cans with various bullets to see how they perform, and other media intended to simulate some tissues.

Maybe I'm just missing it, but do we have a forum for shooting sports, such as bowling pins and silhouette and cowboy action?

We're still in the process in re-designing the forum and website with OP, so feel free to give us suggestions! They're the first step towards getting something done!

Then I'll make it official:

Please, I would like to see (and I imagine others would too) a forum on shooting sports. Shooting paper, bowling pins, tannerite, steel, whatever.

For those I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet, I was one of the few token Brits, and now living in California.

Aha, a californian, if only by immigration.

I'm curious to hear what your views are on the proposal to split california into so many fragments.

To be brutally honest, I need to do more research. My gut reaction is that it's a silly idea, and is being pushed so hard by super-rich investors because it would be to their benefit at the detriment of Joe Public. Need to do some more reading before I can form a concrete opinion though.

I heard about this, but I instantly shelved it as one of those things that Californians say every few years, i.e. so much smoke. Does it actually stand a chance of happening?

I doubt it will happen.

To me the reason why this is interesting, is that there seems to be substantial disgruntlement within the state. Politically, it's a bitterly divided state.

This sort of thing looks to me like a straw in the wind.
