Recently I started purchasing Tula ammo for my DPMS again and I noticed something odd. All the other times I bought ammo, the bullets had a copper coloring to them; whether or not it's an actual copper jacket, I forgot about that. But this time around the bullet coloring was silver, giving it a polished steel appearance.
Anyone else notice this recently? Was there some change made that we weren't alerted to?
I have seen photos of the new ammo. The older ones were only "cooper washed" to give the appearance of being copper jacketed. I imagine these are the same stuff, only without the cooper wash.
