Default Rcbs

My little 223 Rem die from RCBS came across a military crimp it didn't like. First issue with these dies in more then 7 or 8 years. Bent badly. Being me, and a little stupid, I grabbed a pair of pliers and "straightened" it, right into two pieces.

Called RCBS, and while i was waiting for ten minutes for a rep, I was quite happy at the end of the call. We chatted for two minutes and I told her it was my fault and i was willing to pay for it.. she told me, "Lifetime warranty. hon. I will get you that part and a couple of spares." I told her thanks a ton.

Three business days later, the Brown Truck of Happiness leaves a package at my door. She sent me a replacement expander rod, the bushing for the rod, and 5 pins.

Go RCBS !! Great products and service.

So, how come RCBS, Hornady, Lee, and Marlin all have great customer service and AT&T, Dell, HP, and Chevy don't? RCBS, Hornady, Lee, and Marlin all know you are packing !! An armed society is a polite society.

Glad that worked out for you Bard. I've often thought I should maybe get a couple spares for my dies just in case. I haven't broken one yet (yes I knocked on wood) but I'm sure it will one day & it would be nice to not have to wait a day or two.

Think about this; Christopher Reeve had a better case against horses than the Bradys do against guns. After all a horse has intelligence, free will, & mobility.

That has always been my experience with RCBS and why I buy their products. About a year ago I had a 30/06 brass get stuck broke the rod getting the brass out, same thing new rod, expander bushing, and a package of 5 pins, and the shipping took about 3 days as well.

BTW wamba if they are RCBS dies there is no need for spares as they are covered under warranty

"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes....Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." I was thinking it would be nice to have the spares on hand so I wouldn't have to wait 3 days before finishing my batch of reloads. I get impatient & unreasonable about things like that.

I haven't had to use their warranty but I use their products almost exclusively.
It all does what it says on the box.

The best thing I ever bought has been the Chargemaster scale/dispenser combo.
It's accurate, easy to use & speeds up reloading by allowing me to seat bullets whilst the next load is dispensing.
Loads are rarely off from the programmed weight & then only by 0.1gr. The unit even beeps to let you know this.
