Official Code of Conduct - Box O' Truth Forums

The purpose of The Box O' Truth Forums is to allow folks with an interest in firearms and firearms-related topics to have a place for public discussion. We are friends here that share common interests. We will treat each other with mutual respect and courtesy.

Please follow these general guidelines.

Do not do the following:

1) Posting derogatory comments of a racial, religious, or sexual nature. This includes your username, signature line, and title. Moderators reserve the right to edit these items and to remove your ability to modify them in the future.


2) Posting pictures or links to images which contain pornography, nudity, animal cruelty, racism, or sexism.

There are millions of sites where porn can be seen. This isn't one of them.


3) Posting or linking to information on how to make illegal modifications to firearms or purchase illegal items.


4) Posting comments or links in support of illegal activities including, but not limited to, threats against the life of any living person, doing harm to a state or federal official, or advocating the overthrow of the government.


5) Posting of someone else's personal contact information.


6) Repeatedly attacking or insulting a person in an effort to elicit a negative response. You have a right to disagree, but please do so in a respectful manner.


7) Insulting or speaking negatively about honorable American Military troops.


8) "Cop bashing" will not be tolerated. If you wish to bash honorable police officers, go somewhere else. Err on the side of caution.

This is a friendly site. Please act like mature adults. Spirited debate is welcome and encouraged. Rudeness is not.
