"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes....Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." Couldn't hardly believe some of the stuff I've been reading, sounds like the guy was a half a bubble off for some time now. Sounds like this guy should have been screened out some time ago, either by his professors or his superior officers.
What really ticks me off is he'll be treated so much fairer than if things were reversed, & the world will never acknowledge that.

Think about this; Christopher Reeve had a better case against horses than the Bradys do against guns. After all a horse has intelligence, free will, & mobility.
Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it, & you can bet they will be whining "Why didn't somone warn us?"

The latest I have seen on this is one of the firearms was a FNH and from the looks of the gun was a 5.7. Of course this info is subject to error due to reporters zeal. Also there was mention of 100 rounds fired. Anybody heard or seen any new info on this attack on America!

Saw this political cartoon today, thought it was mighty accurate.

The left already has the whitewash brushes out trying to call this anything but terrorism and an act of jihad. His ties to some of the 9/11 bomber is now coming to light as well as his anti US rhetoric. I understand he owed the US military a debt for his education but he should have been separated from the service long ago and his wages garnished till his school loans were paid back.

My first blog entry on the subject: http://redd09.livejournal.com/4338.html

And my second: http://redd09.livejournal.com/4446.html

That which doesn't kill me...probably won't kill the other guy attacking me.

Instead of banning the guns and the shiny things, just let the stupid people die. The world will be a better place because of it.

Nice blog entries...what the liberalists don't mention is that countries with draconian gun laws have a firearm crime rate higher than the US and it is growing far faster than in the US.

They will never understand that guns are not the problem...people are. This man should have been removed from the service some years ago but I am sure that the fact that the government felt money was owed was the reason they kept him in uniform.

What drives me nuts is the snide comments like "if only they all had guns, this never would have happened- Oh wait" when they're completely ignorant as to how disarmed servicemen are on-base.

THE CAKE IS A LIE.

More like he was a "MUSLUM" hell he probably got promoted fast because he was a muslum.

Looks like thirteen counts of premeditated murder. Also appears that he has very good council which I am glad to see. I want this b*stard to die for what he did and I don't want anyone ever coming back saying that he didn't get a fair trial.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

"A republic, replied the Doctor, if you can keep it.”

How did this guy get on to this lawyer so fast. Seemed like the lawyer was there before he was off the vent. Anybody mentioned " hate crime"? Just a thought, add it to the list!
